Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Immigration Paralegal to support our immigration attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file petitions and applications with USCIS, DOL, DOS, and other government agencies (e.g., H-1B, PERM, L-1, TN, O-1, I-140, I-130, I-485, etc.)
• Assist attorneys with family-based immigration processes including Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, and Naturalization
• Draft immigration forms, client correspondence, support letters, and legal memos
• Conduct legal research on immigration laws and policies
• Track case deadlines and maintain case management systems (e.g., Docketwise, INSZoom, Microsoft Office, or similar)
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and provide case updates
• Organize and maintain physical and digital case files
• Stay current on immigration law developments and regulatory changes

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Paralegal certificate a plus
• 1–3+ years of experience in immigration law (law firm or in-house)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, procedures, and terminology
• Proficiency with case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (Spanish, Albanian) is a plus

The ideal candidate is passionate about immigration law, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong communication and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration applications and petitions (e.g., family-based, employment-based, non-immigrant visas, DACA, naturalization, waivers)
• Organize and maintain client files, both physical and digital
• Draft correspondence, legal documents, and forms (e.g., USCIS, EOIR, DOS)
• Communicate with clients to collect documentation and provide case updates
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and case tracking systems
• Support attorneys with case preparation for hearings, interviews, and filings

Qualifications

• Prior experience in immigration law preferred (1+ year)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with immigration case management software (e.g., Docketwise, INSZoom, Microsoft Office, etc.)
• Bilingual in Albanian and Spanish languages required
